Native Sons and Daughters of Greater Kansas City Award
This $100 prize is sponsored by the Native Sons and Daughters of Greater Kansas City, and is open to all entries. It is awarded to the best entry dealing with Kansas City-area history. This area is defined as Douglas, Franklin, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, and Wyandotte counties in Kansas, and Carroll, Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte, and Ray counties in Missouri.
To be eligible for this award, students must complete the award nomination information within the online registration system, including an entry description and how the entry is related to the award and mail in a copy of the nomination information and process paper and annotated bibliography by the registration deadline date April 5.
