Kansas Council for History Education Award

This $100 prize is sponsored by the Kansas Council for History Education is open to all entries. It is awarded to the best Junior and Senior entry that embodies the Kansas Council for History Education's mission of high quality, educationally rigorous historical work. In addition, the research topic must pertain to local or state history and the student must use local or state archival materials in the course of their research. Special consideration will be given to projects that demonstrate a strong geographical or community-based connection to the student.
To be eligible for this award, students must complete the award nomination information within the online registration system, including an entry description and how the entry is related to the award by the registration deadline date. Nominations must include the following to be considered:
