Anne Hawkins - current District 5 coordinator, educator, and former KS History Day teacher of the year, who previously co-coordinated the State competition in Abilene at the Eisenhower Presidential Library when HD was directed by the Kansas Historical Society. Served as History Day judge at all levels of competition and has coached several students to top 12 finishes.

Terry Healy - retired teacher of over 41 years, former KS History Day teacher of the year, recipient of NHD professional development re: Normandy experience, and KHDF Board Member. Currently, prepares the annual KHD Topic Guide. Served as History Day judge at all levels and successfully prepared students to qualify for nationals.

Susan “Sitt” Sittenauer - retired teacher, former KS History Day teacher of the year, “Queen” of fundraising for students aspiring to attend the National competition, as many of her students have claimed “bling” on the national stage. She also serves as a KHDF Board Member, who continues to inspire numerous students and mentor teachers across Kansas.

Travis Lamb - former KS History Day teacher of the year, many of Travis’ former students earned top honors at Nationals, including his son and his 2 partners with their first place 2008 junior group performance. Currently, Travis serves as the Program Development Officer at the Dole Institute of Politics.
