Kansas Council for History Education Award
This $100 prize is sponsored by the Kansas Council for History Education is open to all entries. It is awarded to the best Junior and Senior entry that embodies the Kansas Council for History Education's mission of high quality, educationally rigorous historical work. In addition, the research topic pertains to local or state history and/or the student uses local or state archival materials in the course of their research.
To be eligible for this award, students must complete the award nomination form, including an entry description and how the entry meets the award criteria, and mail in a copy of the nomination information and process paper and annotated bibliography by the registration deadline date March 28.

If it is deemed that there is not an entry that meets the criteria, the award will not be given.
